In this diet, we reduce the intake of carbs but we take the diet which is high in fat.

Types Of Ketogenic Diets:
There are so many types of ketogenic diets. They all are somewhere similar to one another but there are some changes in all of them.
- Standard Ketogenic Diet: In this diet, we make changes in our diet in which we include a very low amount of carbs and a high amount of fat with a medium level of proteins. It is like 75% of fat 20% of proteins and 5% of carbs in the whole diet.
- Cyclical Ketogenic Diet: In this form of keto diet we make cycles of diet. It is like having 2 days in the week of high carbs and other 5 days of low carbs and high fat. It is a mixture of carbs and fat.
- Targeted ketogenic diet: In this diet, you are allowed to add carbs in the diet. But this privilege is available to you only at the tymes of workout. Yes, you can have carbs but only at the times of workout. Without working out you cannot eat carbs in this diet.
- High-protein ketogenic diet: This is somewhere similar to the diet of the standard diet of the ketogenic diet. The ratio of protein carbs and fats is changed from Standard keto diet. It is like eating everything in the ratio of 60% fat, 35% protein, and the same 5% carbs.
In general keto diet is all about reducing the ration of carbs from your diet so that the energy which first used to digest the carbs is used to burn the fat.
